After her successful run in "Chicago" on Broadway in NYC, Michelle Williams packed up her dancing shoes and crossed the pond to the UK. There she was teamed up with series 1 winner, Brendan Cole to compete in the UK Version of "Dancing with the Stars", called "Strictly Come Dancing" on BBC.Michelle, who is a phenomenal singer, actress and Broadway Star is not a classically trained dancer. Like she said, Give her a microphone and she can sing for the Queen over tea & biscuits, but this is a new world for her. Dancing may seem like it would be Second Nature to her but Ballroom/Latin American Dance is totally different than doing a music video or a choreographed scene in a play. You have to learn the technique, have great posture, learn to point your toes...oh so many rules to remember! She gives it her all, training at least 6 hours a day in the dance studio trying to perfect her technique with her recently married partner, Brendan. Judges Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli, Craig Revel Horwood and Alesha Dixon have been tough on Michelle-but we know she will prove them wrong. We believe in TEAMMICHELLE!
