#ShopbopSephoraLaunch

We all know how horrific the weather has been for the past couple of days and because of that fact we were stuck in Brooklyn and unable to attend the Shopbop Sephora Launch Party which was Tuesday December 28, 2010 at the Sephora in Times Square. The Sephora Collection Color Play 5 in 1 Limited-Edition Palette was the MAIN EVENT for the night. This Palette is inspired by Shopbops "Faces of Fashion" editorial Look Book.
Just like a sea of colors. Don't get overwhelmed; because of the portable compact it comes with you can simply choose one of the five color palettes and take it to go...definitely perfect for busy city girls on the move. Each Palette has 10 eye shadows, 2 lip colors and 1 blush. The five color stories correspond to five iconic figures in fashion:

THE LADY

Angelic Boudoir ( nudes, sands, with a touch of bright blue and fuchsia)
FEMME FATALE
Black is the New Black ( black smoky eyes)
JET-SET BOHEMIAN
Boho Bombshell (dark blues, warm taupes, warm golds)
CLASSIC PREP
Classics Never Die ( brown smoky eyes)
LONDON MOD
A Nod to Mod ( bright blues, greens, pink, purples)
Ladies you won't even break the bank with this purchase, the value of this product is $125 but GUESS WHAT, the retail value is just $30. How great is that :). It's been available at Sephora since the 26th of December and the "Faces of Fashion" look book is available today December 29th on shopbop.com. That's not all Make Up lovers, Shopbop and Sephora are co-sponsoring a sweepstakes in conjunction with the launch of the 5 in 1 Palette. This sweepstakes began December 20, 2010 and will end February 2, 2011. Entrants will enter in a chance to win a years supply of makeup from Sephora and a $2500 shopping spree at Shopbop. You can enter the sweepstakes here

Have fun with the perfect facial accessory.

Christmas Brunch 2010

This year we decided to change things up. In the past, we usually had a Christmas Dinner, but for 2010 we all agreed to host a Brunch on Sunday December 26th. It's our 4th year hosting and we are basically pros at this LOL; good food and great company. My favorite part is the cooking and having some much needed girl time before our guests arrive. The start of the blizzard didn't stop us from having our brunch, even though the guest list this year gradually got smaller in one day! This year it was nice and intimate. Maybe we can alternate in the future; next year a dinner and the following year another brunch. Either way, this year was a success.

Blizzard Conditions

It may have been a day late, but the East Coast was given a white Christmas! It started coming down December 26th while me & the ladies were hosting our annual X-Mas Brunch (more on that later). Within a few hours and overnight we were blanketed with more than 2 feet of snow. Travel came to a hault here in NY, with MTA having suspended service and all buses and trains. I was blessed to have been able to stay home for the past 2 days but tomorrow I have to hike to work. Here are a few photos I snapped on my phone, while venturing out into the storm.

View from my dining room window. No steps!

A perk on staying home. A hot homemade breakfast!

Twinny shoveling his car out, still stuck!
Taking a stroll in the neighborhood, nothing keeps me & mum in!
Walking our narrow path

Can be beautiful in some spots; the local church

The Sun!

Yikes! Trapped!

Let's climb the mountain of snow!

Our street, not plowed for 2 days!

Can't get to work!

No pizza for us! Dominoes is snowed in!

Fire hazard!

A Sea of Snow

Wedge-A-MA-CALLIT

We're getting closer to Christmas, and with each day it feels like the temperature is dropping and snow is in the air. Hopefully we will get a white Christmas, but until then Trois Femmes is taking advantage of the dry ground and rockin' our Coach Liana Booties. With all the layering of clothing going on in the winter-the piling on of a sweater, coat, hat, gloves, you rarely get a chance to feel "cute" dressed up like an Eskimo. But the one item that can turn your outfit from feeling frumpy is your shoes! Here we are in our favorite shoe of the season, The Coach "Liana Bootie". Loves it!
