"Some Like It Hot" all that I can say about this photograph of Michelle Williams portraying Marilyn Monroe for her role in MY WEEK WITH MARILYN. I've seen many re-enactments of the Iconic Blonde Beauty and this one hands down is Stunning.

Do you think Michelle makes a good Marilyn?

"ITS HERE" finally, soo exciting. Its the best feeling when something that your expecting comes when your not even thinking about it. It didn't even come to mind when I came home to see a Fedex notice of a failed first attempt for delivery, maybe because I had a long day. I just waited for my sis (shirl) to come home and then we drove to Fedex to pick up our package. Ten minutes later my sister is doing a little dance on the side walk with a big smile on her face. And then she says it as she's opening the car door. First: AAAAAHHHHHH Second: Immediately text Rachel. I can't believe it, two months later...well worth the wait. Definitely "GRAND PRIZE WINNERS!!!". To view our winning post click here. THANK YOU TO COACH FROM TROIS FEMMES.

Color Overload!!!

I think it's safe to say I have a nail polish addiction! I can't help myself. It makes me feel better to know that my sisters aren't any better haha. We're always fishing for new colors and now we have know where to put we put them in bags. Our favorite brands out of many are OPI, Essie, Revlon, and Deborah Lippmann. Sherr and I have stacked up about 72 bottles of polish and the collection is only growing because I just ordered 5 more! I got the Go Goth collection from OPI, which comes with 4 mini bottles and I took it back and also got Feelin Hot Hot Hot by OPI South Beach collection! Can't wait to throw them in the bag with the rest!

Me and the collection my sis and I share!
Rachel's collection of polishes!

Every Sunday I do my nails for the week and this week I chose Ruby Red Slippers by Deborah Lippmann

Mask It-What to Wear?

Since I will be traveling to a happening Halloween town of Lambertville/New Hope for the festivities this year, I thought it would only be right if I dressed up a bit. I've been thinking about being a black cat for a while now and wanted to find the perfect look. I have also been obsessing over Louis Vuitton's bunny ears that have been popping up all over the place- Lady Gaga graced the September cover of NEO2 magazine wearing lace ears by Maison Michel, Madonna donned a pair at The Met Gala and Nicole Richie rocked hers in Mexico.
Then back in September at Vogue Paris' 90th Anniversary Party guests showed up in Masquerade Masks and I found my self sitting on top of the fence, not knowing what to choose...
Photos from 90th Anniversary issue of Vogue Paris-really digging the feathers below!

Strolling through Ricky's on a Nail Polish run, I made an impulse buy and got a Lace Cat Mask! I was initially happy with the purchase but then got home thinking I could have done better. Now I reach out to our reading for ideas on how to spruce up this mask and what the heck to wear with it- leggings, dress, something lace, red lipstick, black lipstick? One of my options below-Can you help me out?

Fall Obsession: Infinity Scarves

Since Fall came the weather has been a bit nippy, so I've been wearing scarves obsessively. My favorite scarves these days are Infinity Scarves. They wrap around and double! They are guaranteed to keep your neck warm. I love them and my collection is growing fast. I already have 3 and winter hasn't arrived yet!

Outfit: scarf, blazer and tee: H&M (you can also find the scarves at urban outfitters like the floral one below); leggings: Mystique; and sneakers: Urban Outfitters

Frost on the Pumpkin!-Outfit Post

The Frost was definitely on that pumpkin today. It was the first really chilly day here in NY. I broke out my hat and went for some coffee. Thought this cup from 7 Eleven was pretty cool, "Wake UP"! I also stopped by Godiva for my free truffle of the month-Flavor:Pumpkin, of course. The way the chocolate was wrapped in the orange foil with the leaf and little stem was too cute. (you get a free Godiva Chocolate truffle each month with your Godiva Chocolate Rewards Card!)Outfit: H&M Jacket & Hat, Lancaster Vacay & Urban Outfitter's rings, OPI-"Tease-y Does It" nail polish, vintage shades and blouse, Forever21 Jeans, Jessica Simpson boots. ............ My main man Mr. Monk was coming in for the kill.......... ..........................SMOOOOCHES!.........................

I Think We Have A Winner

To go back to the trend post here, I am keeping up with my little mission of finding the right long skirt or dress that is flattering to my short frame :). This skirt is definitely a great find. Light, comfortable, flattering color and fit. I love the way it elongates my body ( even though it could be the way the picture was taken) sneaky sneaky. This outfit screams Fall with all the layering going on. Don't let the smiles fool you I was freezing when I took some of these shots. ENJOY!

Thanx to Destiny once again for the pics. *sherry*

I'm Seeing Double-Outfit Post

A lot of the times we have a similar look. Without getting dressed in the same house or chit chatting about what we will wear on a certain day, me and my girls have a weird connection, correction-special connection. As in Shirl's latest post, she was decked out in stripes and here I am in stripes of my own. My look from head to toe (Thanks to my Mum for snapping these pics):

My Banana wanted to get into the pic, she needs a good brushing!Outfit: H&M Stripped top, H&M Black Pants, Dolce Vita Shoes, Rings: Vintage, Elizabeth and James "Double Chevron Sapphire Ring", Nail Polish: OPI-"Tease-y Does It", Lips: NARS Pure Matte Lipstick in "Vesuvio". xoxO Rae
