Last weekend, me and my mom headed back to the town where we enjoyed our first bed & breakfast experience at The York Street House B&B (seen here http://tresladies85.blogspot.com/2009/11/york-street-house-bed-breakfast.html ). This time we stayed at The Martin Coryell House B&B in Lambertville, NJ. Lambertville is known as, "The Antique Capital of New Jersey" and that is exactly the feel this B&B gave me. Felt like a showplace, where you had to be careful not to break anything as you explored the house and was served a 3 course breakfast on fine bone china.
Lambertville's streets are lined with many Victorian Homes and this one was no different. This brick, federal style home with an Italianate front porch, was said to be built in 1864. The Martin Coryell House had many historic touches with Victorian antiques mixed with the modern comforts we enjoy, like an electronic fireplace. A perfect spot to have fun with the camera.
