Here's to our 2nd installment of "Where in the Concrete Jungle Will Trois Femmes Pop Up?". We braved the cold, slushy streets of NYC and made our way to, Veniero's Pasticceria and Cafe located at 342 east 11th street between 1st and 2nd Avenue, for a little pick me up. Tiramisu of course!

This famous landmark has been around since 1894, owned and operated by the Veniero Family. Their Italian pastries has won them awards in Rome, Bolognia & at New York world's Fair. You feel like you are transported to an old world style Italian cafe, with their original stamped cooper ceilings, Italian marble floors, stained glass ceilings, and polished wood mirrors.

As you walk in, you are greeted with delicious delights all around. A wide variety of large and small Italian pastries ranging from cakes cookies, biscotti's and cannoli's. It is so overwhelming when everything looks so tastey- Windmill, their famous Almond Torte, Our favorite Tiramisu, Cheesecake, Strawberry Shortcake, Chocolate Mousse Cake. What do we choose?! And if the cookies, cakes and pastries weren't enough, Veniero's also has a selection of gelato, espresso, cappuccino and tea.

Absolutely relaxing with all the fresh aromas. You can have the pleasure of taking in the experience in the cafe with a liquor, to warm your inners on a cold day or take out to enjoy the delights in the comfort of your own home. Orders can now be placed online and delivered, which is very convenient when you need a birthday cake for someone in the office.

Veniero's does wedding cakes and Holiday Specialties, which are available during-Valentine's Day, St. Joseph's Day, Mother's Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's.
