Katie Holmes Stepping Out in NYC

Katie Holmes was one busy bee in NYC this week. Aside from exploring NYC with Suri, she was much about business and doing so, looking chic-

Katie Holmes was in town for many reasons. She presented a preview of her Holmes & Yang Fall 2011 collection at Barneys. Always classic, she sported a very cute pair of Dolce & Gabbana Polka Dot heels, carrying her own garment bags into the event. She seems so sweet and down to earth.

We also found out that Katie will be adding handbag designer to her "Check List". She and stylist/design partner Jeanne Yang, teamed up with Valextra, to design handbags. They will be available in July and she previewed two of the bags at her Barney's event. What do you think of the bag?

Ms. Holmes was also seen, making her rounds during the week in a simple camel belted coat. I couldn't help but notice the [BLANKNYC] Inorganic Denim Shirt underneath her coat. I recently became obsessed with the denim look and this top is on my must have list. I love the blue and camel together. Katie usually takes the classic route and avoids being too trendy. Such great style! Trois Femmes would love to meet her one day!
